Land insecurity and environmental injustice are continuing causes of conflicts in northern Uganda today. What are the different forms of land insecurity and environmental injustices? For the next 5 years, HURIFO will implement activities to protect the land rights of the indigents, increase their knowledge of land security, and reduce land conflicts. It will also implement activities to protect and conserve the environment to minimize adverse climatic effects and ensure a safe environment for the future. These activities are expected to improve Land access, utilization, control, ownership, and security, and empower right holders and duty bearers to actively engage in protecting and promoting environmental justice.
