The main objective of this thematic areas is to promote good governance and accountability, citizenry, nationalism, civic responsibility, democracy, and rule of laws. Over the next five years therefore, HURIFO implement activities that will aid at substantially reducing corruption and bribery in all its forms, collaborate and support the efforts of accountable, honest and transparent institutions and individuals at all levels and; promote inclusive, participatory and representative decision making at all levels, and it will build capacity of citizens to demand for and monitor service delivery, participation in development planning and decision making. These actions which will contribute to SDGs 16 (5,6, &7) will result into a) enhanced competency of grassroots community to hold duty bearers accountable for human rights, service delivery, and enhanced transparency and accountability in institutions responsible for service delivery.
